At the 2010 BC RJ Conference attendees broke out into fifteen working groups to discuss key issues and create viable action plans to further restorative practice in those areas. The fifteen discussion groups were:

- Capacity, competency and mental health in restorative justice
- Developing restorative justice program policy
- Evaluation and research
- Funding and sustainability (two groups)
- Maintaining training
- Provincial cooperation and collaboration
- Restorative justice and gangs
- Restorative justice in schools
- Victim engagement
- Volunteer recruitment and engagement
- Youth rights in restorative justice processes
